A scarf for WeFeltUnited

FeltUnited is a group of artists with a network reaching felt making artists across the planet, to connect them all and to raise the awareness of Felt as a craft form and as an art form. You can read more about it on their website.
Every year they're organizing an event : International Day of Felt. Felt makers are asked to make a piece of felt in certain colours and to make photos of the displayed felt work. Later on the photos will be joined in an album on the feltunited website.
This year the colours were blue-purple-red, and their combinations.
I made a nuno felted scarf on a cotton-silk base, with natural dyed merinowool (logwood and cochenille).
I don't know yet if my work is 'accepted'...

FeltUnited est un groupe d'artistes qui est lié avec des 'artistes fabriquant du feutre' dans le monde entier pour les connecter tous. Chaque année ils organisent un événement: International Day of Felt, en invitant les artistes à créer une œuvre en feutre dans les couleurs bleu-pourpre-rouge pour 2011. J'y ai participé, comme beaucoup d'autres, en feutrant une écharpe avec de la laine mérinos, teintée végétalement.
Je ne sais pas si mon écharpe sera présentée dans l'album sur leur site, mais en tout cas, je vous la montre ici...
